Internet Sacred Text Archive -Over 60 megabytes of complete, public domain primary and secondary texts from all major world religions, in English and transliterated original languages. The site has a hypertext Bible in Hebrew, Greek, Latin and English, the Quran in English and Arabic, and an extensive archive of Buddhist, Shinto, Hindu, and Pagan texts culled from the net. All texts at the site are formatted in HTML for easy surfing. The site includes some major texts not available elsewhere on the web such as the entire Rig Veda in both English and Sanskrit, as well as the Max Muller translation of the Upanishads and Shinto and Jain texts not available elsewhere. These have been specially scanned by the sites' creator. This is a non-commercial site dedicated to scholarship and tolerance and is not sponsored by any specific religious body or sect.
